We specialise in one-to-one, two-Student or small Family Group residential 'homestay' teaching of English combined with 'live' on-line lessons at your own home or office - before or after your holiday at The White House.
Our 'Learning English on Holiday'+ online courses are ideal for:
- ...the wives, husbands or partners of international business executives (who have, perhaps, already attended intensive, residential business English language courses) who also want to improve their English so that the can more fully support their spouses' business and social prospects…
- ...aspiring university students who need to improve their grades/band levels in the required Cambridge ESOL/CAE or IELTS academic examinations …and who want extra, one-to-one, dedicated 'homestay' + online tuition during their school holidays.
- ...or simply visitors to England who want to have a fantastic, memorable holiday in England, staying with a really friendly English host family …practising English (in the mornings) in the comfort of an English country house combined with your choice of daily holiday activities (in the afternoons).
- ...or just English Language Students of any age who want a course of 'live' (Skype) online lessons at convenient times.
Online lessons...
Using the latest Skype technology and the minimum of accessories hardwear (a digital camera, earphones and built-in microphone), we can plan a programme of 'live' online lessons specifically adapted to meet the needs of each student. Lessons can be planned for any mutually convenient time:
- before a planned visit to the UK in preparation for a 'homestay' visit to 'Learning English on Holiday'
- after a 'homestay' visit
- to prepare for an important occasion - a presentation, a meeting, an exam...
- or just to improve your English generally.
Lessons take place on-line and homework can be done off-line,ready for checking and discussion at the next on-line session. Lessons are charged by the hour and the cost includes all cost materials (see 'Tariffs').

Our aim is to provide a very informal, friendly, fun-filled atmosphere in which to learn English combined with a unique combination of social and cultural experiences, designed to meet the interests of each individual, partnership or group – whatever your age, interests or aspirations.
